Abstract Submission Guidelines
Experts in lipid and atherosclerosis from all around the world are encouraged to submit their abstracts.To submit your abstract, please use the online submission system, and before submitting your abstract, please make sure to carefully review the guidelines provided.
The Scientific Program Committee will review all submitted abstracts and abstract acceptance notification will be sent via e-mail accordingly.
Also, please note that all presenters must register and pay the registration fee.

Instructions
- All abstracts must be submitted online.
- Faxed or emailed abstracts will not be accepted.
- Abstracts must be written in clear English.
- Abstracts should not exceed 300 words.
- Authors may edit and modify submitted abstracts until the final abstract submission deadline.
- Please note that any typos, grammatical errors, or other mistakes in the abstract you submitted will not be corrected by the secretariat. It is the responsibility of the
submitter to ensure the accuracy of the abstract. - All the abstract will be presented in oral presentation, either in Oral Presentation 1~3 session or in Mini-Oral Presenation 1~2 session.
- The Scientific Program Committee accepts research abstracts, not case reports. The submission format for research abstracts should include Objectives, Methods, Results, and Conclusions.
- An e-mail confirmation will be sent acknowledging receipt of your abstract submission. Please ensure you receive this confirmation.
- If you do not receive the e-mail confirmation, please check your submission information on 'My Page' as we may have no record of your submission.
- All presenting authors must complete registration within Early Registration Deadline to finalize the academic program.
Awards & Grants
ICoLA Awards
ICoLA will award excellent presentations upon the solid screening process of Scientific Program Committee during the congress.
ICoLA Travel Grant
ICoLA offers travel grant to presenters from overseas countries. The Scientific Program Committee will select travel grant recipients (aged under 40) in recognition oftheir outstanding achievements and contributions to research in the field of lipids and atherosclerosis.
Please note that the standard for determining age is the start date of the congress, which is September 26(Thu) for ICoLA 2024.

Abstract Acceptance Notification
- The Scientific Program Committee will review all submitted abstracts according to the established screening procedures.
- The presenting author, corresponding author, and submitter will receive abstract acceptance notification via e-mail.
Withdrawal Policy
- If the presenting author of an accepted abstract does not register online, the abstract will be withdrawn from the final program automatically.
- Please notify the ICoLA 2024 secretariat as soon as possible if you would like to withdraw an abstract via e-mail. (icola2024@planbear.co.kr)
